Right here, right now

Ta-dah! Proof that I wasn't, as Sheldon would say, "Just funnin' ya". Gained admissions into the obnoxious group of being a graduate, and an unemployed one at that. Jobs, anyone?

So because some of us didn't walk at the convocation it didn't really feel like a reaaaalll graduation without of course, a celebration! Decided right at the last minute that we would go to Oasis Square@ Ara Damansara, since it seems to be "happening" lately.

But sadly we went to Rakuzen, where the food seems just like an extension of Sushi Zanmai with the addition of better services I guess. Same food, same taste, less quantity, more expensive. Only way to salvage it is through the lovely company of all my loves.

The girls

And the boys
After dinner it was like 10pm already so we moved on to The Roof at First Avenue, it's like a new place for hanging out and drinking plus one of the guys said that since it's high up in the sky it signifies us going up and to places (extremely Chinese thinking mentality alert!) so all of us went.

view's great, too bad not too many tables are outside
plus I personally think the balcony feels unsafe

Last pic of the night before we (ahem, mainly I) got plastered

Word of warning, alcohol sucks, guys. Don't drink. stick to Coke (the SODAAAA!) and juice.

Cheers!

Bumbling post

This post will just be a regular, but messy and bumbling update of what's happening so far :)

Well, I mentioned before that I'm doing my internship right now, two more months to go before another one looms up in August! Kinda went off the rails as my current intern has nothing whatsoever to do with my major ahaha (architecture vs psychology), but I decided to venture into the "path less known" as illustrated by Robert Frost in "The Road Not Taken" (high school, anyone?) *proud

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both"

SO for those who wants to know how an internship feels like, doing one in a small firm definitely has greater returns la, hehe. So far I have done no coffee/tea making, photocopying, or the other lame stuff an intern does in a huge firm.

"Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear"

On the other hand, I HAVE-learnt Autocad, went out for (super awesome) lunches with clients, examined sites a couple of times, so life is interesting to say the least.

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

There are cons too, patches of time where I don't have anything to do (It rhymes!) What to do, I'm a fast learner and do-er HOHO so I squeeze the Internet until I make NetJuice.

Braided my hair for Phui Loo's birthday last Wednesday. Last year's celebration is blogged about here

Bad photo quality, oops

Braided the sides of my head and rolled up the back
necklace from Roses Cart

Almost took my arm off trying to braid my hair, but then the satisfaction after achieving it is indescribable (HAH! I DID IT). Dinner by the way was at Kokopelli off Dataran Three 2, so-so lahh. Nothing to shout about :/

oh although the plain water there costs an arm and a leg for the amount served -.- Felt justified to steal the bottle since it cost so much but it couldn't fit into my clutch or else there'll be a picture of my new glass bottle here already in the empty space below:

(XXXXXXXXX)
space for picture of non-acquired glass water bottle

Going back into the life of a renter, at least until my intern ends, so I am going to miss my walk-in wardrobe :( bye-bye! Next time my house must have, including glass corridors upstairs so I can see down (refer to super old post of dream house from a dream)---P.s. I can't find the post, now I'm wondering whether I did post it or not hahaha. maybe it was in the dream too that I blogged.

bye-bye super blur pic of my fav room

Lastly, June is the month of being broke. Everybody's birthdays are in June, including my sister Charis and 3 besties, sigh!

Want to backpack travel to Europe, must start saving money to make it possible! Those kind of travel that is without itinerary wan, where you can stand at a train timetable board and decide where to go based on nothing more than "just cuz I felt like it" <3 but I don't want to travel with a boyfriend/future husband using their money cuz then I won't feel like the trip belonged to ME. Weird huh? Must work work work.

Sui Ta Bo Eddie made a rose for me *contented

Was going through my old posts and I found that my writing style degraded and disintegrated already -.- Last time it used to be rather full of life and now it's rather drab. I'm blaming it all on the Final Year Project/Senior Project from Spring this year----it killed my writing, hmmph.

Lastly, a picture of the furriest love of my life,

Cheers!

4 years anniversary

It IS a relationship anniversary....just with a bunch of people!
Those who were there all when we looked nerdy and fresh-faced out of high school, those who saw all our ups and downs, fought together, played together, and though we might be heading different ways now, we'll all remember each other.

Ta-dah! All of us in the picture, hmm i should very well post up one from 4 years ago as well. Went to the liberty of scrolling down ALL my FB photos to look for these! (laptop hanged a few times as well)

Sue's 19th birthday, a century ago already la

Eddie's 19th! yeap we only gather for birthdays

CNY 2010 I think

June's 19th ahahaha

Just different hair and dressing styles...some never seemed to have changed, haha!
So we just had a simple dinner at Tony Roma's then headed off already :)

took a picture with him cuz he's the hottest

With PL

However, Fiona and me went to Pearle's to hang out with her (and her attention-loving dogs) but we ended up having Bak Kut Teh and enjoying David's HUGEEE-ASSSSS home cinema. It's that good that I want to watch all my movies there from now on.

All pretty ladies now :DDDDD

Boxter snooped in when i was trying to self-cam
fearless little chancer he is

Had to rein him in XD
the screen is BIGGER THAN MEEEEEE
Alright, well that's it! I'm still suffering from the late night we had (old already).
CHEERS!

as attention hogging as any human!

For the one who understands me most

nope it wasn't yesterday, or last week, or the week before..it was last month *pause for a moment of shamefulness XD

me one true love <3 hehe
This post is dedicated to, and will be revolving around FIONA--her birthday was last month as well, as September babies we find that we sometimes think alike and understand each other better compared to other horoscopes, haha! horoscope-ism, hehehe

nicely decorated "throne" for the birthday girl! <3

PRE-PARTY:
Preparations started wayyyyyy before the big day itself--the birthday girl herself saying that her previous birthdays are not as awesome, so we thought, why not make it BIG and let her go giddy with happiness??
SO sue took charge of planning, Phui Loo oversaw everything, I was in charge of planning games and Pearle baked super red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting as the birthday cake!

preparing for the birthday!
The previous night Fiona and me had a sleepover at Pearle's place because we wanted to bake the cupcakes together Xp wow making the cream cheese was so hard; good thing we had another friend over (Gene) and she was good with this baking stuff, hehe! So without further ado, let's have a look at the finished product!

Dang-Dang---dang-dang

THE PARTY ITSELF:
needless to say we were a rowdy bunch and at The Bee the owner gave us free use of the whole interior of the restaurant (other patrons had to sit outside HAR-DI-HA-HA); obviously we made full use of it! a corner for the throne, a corner for the guest book, a corner for chit-chatting and the tables all joined together for a looooong dinner table XD

signing the card when you arrive (guest book)
all 25 of us at a table!

some pictures we took:

jeremy, david, loverboy (covered by my pout)

here you get your chance la <3

Double PL

Birthday girl, me and Phui Loo <3
they look gorgeousssssss
all us pretty girls!
sue busy with bf n blowing balloons, not here =/
aaaaaand for entertainment this fella called Steven got up to present a song (he brought his guitar along to parrrrtayyy) "Happy Birthday" the song was called--he wrote, sang, and played the song himself! *not badddd*

Steven: "who?? ME, sing??!"
(pretending to be paiseh first, Malaysian style)

being emo while Fiona wonders when he will start singing
Lastly, the birthday girl blew the candles on her improvised birthday "cake" and then rowdiness continued until one by one the guests left XD

"Fuuuhhhhhh"
Hope you had an awesome one Fiona, i'm sure you had alot of fun--next year's will be able to surpass this i hope? *cold sweat* haha, <3!
Cheers for all who came <3

hehehe celebrated my birthday last Sunday but haven't had time to blog till now @.@

as my birthday was on Sunday i was like rushing through the day: church in the morning, then off ice skating with Fiona and June, then dinner at Ampang x.x

Ice skating was reaaaalllyyy realllllyyyy fun, harder than i expected though! it was our first time and as i roller skated as a kid i thought it would be supremely easy -.- who knew ice was so slippery!! i totally felt like my legs had a life of their own when they squiggled and slid here and there x.x

well i'm still the best of us 3 (fiona keeps claiming that it's cuz she's super tall so her center of balance is higher and therefore not as stable as me, hmmph) although i fell once the last min and got a huggge bruise T_T

all 3 of our tired and sweaty face Xp
the kid helped them both to skate, hahaha

Ice skating at Royale Bintang the Curve is RM25 on weekends, and you have to bring your own gloves and socks or else you have to pay! =)

oh and it gets really warm after cuz you move alot after!

so afterwards we dressed up for dinner at a Korean BBQ place in Ampang, i forgot the name and somehow no one remembers Xp the owner is quite kiamsiap though if you dont order alooooot he says he won't refill your side dishes -.-"

on the way! <3

After we stuffed ourselves full with meats (the place redeemed itself by it's awesome grilled mackerel) so we paid and got ready to go for the after party Xp

i like his smile ahaha

after that we went back to JW's place and planned to play lame games and some drinking games =D

oh and to blow my cake and open all my presents! (getting greedy during the dinner and couldn't take my hands off already Xp)

birthday cake from Tokyo Pastry =D

staring at my cake!

the only picture of us both on that day

splitting off the cake, see James with his greedy face?Xp

my forever sue zai <3

pearlpearle <3

and the rest of our 5 =)

that's all, tata! had a warm and fun birthday <3
cheers!
