life happened in the way

well, everyone knows how life has the habit of getting in the way, and with mine it's just the same (reminds me of "The Time of My Life" by Cecelia Ahern, it's good-you should read it) right now i find that i kind of prefer to sit in the corner and read or just lying down and watching TVB drama (回到三国); 

okay okay! i'm PROCRASTINATING *big fat pout*

Dr Murad

Well a couple of things happened the past few days, and one of the most exciting one was the arrival of my Dr Murad shipment of products! Went for a workshop under DrMurad and Nuffnang a couple of weeks ago, and one of the offers they had us try out was their online shipping of products.

i must say that their shipping under Skynet is rather fast, only took one day for them to call and confirm my address and two days for the shipping to arrive. pratically shivering with excitement when the details on the website (yeap you can check the status of delivery online, how cool is that?) changed to "out for delivery"!

As you can see there's and Introductory Kit for Blemish Control (my poor skin, i know) which includes, the Clarifying Cleanser, the Exfoliating Blemish Treatment Gel, the Blemish Spot Treatment, Clarifying Mask, Skin Perfecting Lotion, and an additional Skin Primer (Dewy), Hydrating Toner (mist), and some samples along with a RM15 coupon! According to their website they make it a point to add in samples when you order online *dance around in glee* 

and all this just for RM168, the original price for the introductory kit!

Have been using the products for a day now, i love slapping stuff on my face and now the face-washing routine is so much fun and i kinda anticipate going to the bathroom now! (okay i sound like a dork i shall stop) shall post about their products effectiveness soon i hope! =D

Stieg Larsson Trilogy

have been reading non-stop nowadays. uuuurgh can't stop reading the "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" trilogy thriller by Stieg Larsson, started on Tuesday and im halfway through the last book "The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" right now *hyperventilating, the movie is good (Hollywood version) but i think they have alot of thinking and plotting you better read from the trilogy Xp

I baked some bread on Tuesday too, baguettes are like the only kind of bread i really like:

Make Up Hunt

Ah im on this hunt for the perfect foundation; tried this from Shiseido Benefique that my friend bought from Tokyo and it's really really good, loverboy complimented on my complexion and i'm so in love with this bottle now...just that it can only be bought in Japan -.- and shipment here costs like double the price of the bottle itself =.= uuurgh. shall hunt for something similar in KL then! Chanel le Blanc light mastering one sounds good, not sure if it's sold here though! 

Fiona's Birthday

Fiona's birthday was on Monday so we spend Sunday night at Pearle's place making cupcakes! dolled up prettily on Monday night using the foundation mentioned as above! see my pretty face *ooogling at myself* owh and my "美人尖" Xp learnt about this word from Pearle on Monday, Google it! it's quite flattering *failing attempt to sound nonchalant*

hehehe celebrated my birthday last Sunday but haven't had time to blog till now @.@

as my birthday was on Sunday i was like rushing through the day: church in the morning, then off ice skating with Fiona and June, then dinner at Ampang x.x

Ice skating was reaaaalllyyy realllllyyyy fun, harder than i expected though! it was our first time and as i roller skated as a kid i thought it would be supremely easy -.- who knew ice was so slippery!! i totally felt like my legs had a life of their own when they squiggled and slid here and there x.x

well i'm still the best of us 3 (fiona keeps claiming that it's cuz she's super tall so her center of balance is higher and therefore not as stable as me, hmmph) although i fell once the last min and got a huggge bruise T_T

the kid helped them both to skate, hahaha

Ice skating at Royale Bintang the Curve is RM25 on weekends, and you have to bring your own gloves and socks or else you have to pay! =)

oh and it gets really warm after cuz you move alot after!

so afterwards we dressed up for dinner at a Korean BBQ place in Ampang, i forgot the name and somehow no one remembers Xp the owner is quite kiamsiap though if you dont order alooooot he says he won't refill your side dishes -.-"

After we stuffed ourselves full with meats (the place redeemed itself by it's awesome grilled mackerel) so we paid and got ready to go for the after party Xp

after that we went back to JW's place and planned to play lame games and some drinking games =D

oh and to blow my cake and open all my presents! (getting greedy during the dinner and couldn't take my hands off already Xp)

Screening of the Cold Light of Day!

even thought the movie is not officially released till tonight or tomorrow, alot of people has already watched the movie -.-"

anyways last night i got tickets to the screening of the movie, "The Cold Light of Day" and in one sentence, the movie is so-so and only redeemed by the appearance of Bruce Willis. just too bad the movie is not that good.

i'm not going to be a spoiler and provide a step by step replay of the whole movie, you guys can go and watch it for yourself! =)

maybe it's just because i watched the Bourne Legacy a few weeks ago, but i feel that the Bourne is so much better than Cold Light! in Bourne the action is so packed that at the end of the movie i was still waiting for something to happen Xp

In the Cold Light of Day there are a few scenes that doesn't make sense, like for example how did Bruce Willis suddenly appear just after Henry Cavill just found out his family got missing -.-" i mean, how did he know which tree his son was going to bang into.

On her part Sigourney Weaver played the antagonist perfectly la giving me chills everytime she kills people so calmly *cold sweat

well my final verdict is that okay la can watch la! hehehe, since there's not much movies nowadays =/

Merry day at Paradigm!

currently in the throes of excitement cuz Charis (sistah) is featured on Resort World Genting's website! She's one of the special features for her blog post covering the Oriental Cuisine event =)

so anyways this post is about the day that i spent at Paradigm on Monday, i blogged about the screening of Sadako afterwards that day here! We went to Paradigm at about 12.30 and stayed there for lunch, movies, and a short shopping spree <3

So lunch was at Pasta Zanmai, Phui Loo realized that ordering the sets are much more worth it and each set comes with 2 dishes so, yeap i would say that it's ideal for those who want to try alot of dishes but don't want to splurge! All 5 of us left feeling full =)

Afterwards we went to the movies (Wimpy Kid-funny and quite nice, you should go watch too) and then shopping at Sephora! sigh everytime i go there my wishlist gets longer =(
